This position is responsible for successfully managing and operating medical practices involving one or more specialty disciplines and/or clinic sites. Responsible for all phases of specialty and primary care practice activities, including patient care delivery, support staff supervision, day to day operations, financial management, quality improvement, interdepartmental communications and ensuring departmental performance meets the patient needs and financial objectives of the organization. Provides medical specialists with the resources required to meet patient needs and meet the financial objectives of the organization.
Educational requirements include a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field.
Minimum five to seven years in a medical practice or related business office with increased responsibility.
At least three years experience in a supervisory role is required.
