Job Description

This position supervises office operations and clinic staff. It also performs limited financial management and communicates with the physician/practitioner and administration to ensure maintenance of efficient practice site operations. Performs a variety of accounts receivable tasks with concentrated efforts on private/managed care insurance claims. Works under the direct supervision of the Clinics Director.

Basic Qualifications

Educational requirements include a high school diploma with a college degree being preferred.
Supervisory experience is preferred to handle staff questions, problems, or concerns.
Prior medical office experience a plus.
Requires prolonged periods of walking, standing and/or sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and using fingers repetitively.
Must be able to work at a personal computer or computer terminal.
Position requires someone who is computer literate, exceptional keyboard skills as well as someone who is self-motivated and has strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have the ability to work as a team and overcome internal and external challenges that may arise. Must be professional at all times with a positive attitude, well groomed, and prompt.
